BellustarTokyo Announces Its Original Craft Gin “GOTOGIN Bellustar”
Our hotel’s Beverage Director Shigeki Yoshida led the development of this installment.The resulting GOTOGIN Bellustar consists of a unique blend of twenty-one base spirits distilled from eighteen botanicals, with
the key botanical of camellia fruit blended with aromas of botanicals like juniper berries, Goto Japanese black tea, sansho peppers,
and yuzu citrus for a balanced flavor with depth.
This makes for a craft gin which uniqueness shines through no matter the preparation—straight, on the rocks, or as a cocktail like gin soda, gimlet, martini, and so on.
Goto Tsubaki Distillery
Distillery founded in December 2022 by three individuals with former experience
at major brewery companies. It manufactures one-of-a-kind craft gin using the
natural springs of Goto and eighteen botanicals including the island’s camellia
seeds as the key botanical, each finely distilled to create aromas unique to Goto.

In 2012, he won the category championship in the speed challenge category at the “WORLD CLASS 2012 World Championships,” a bartender's festival, as well as many other awards.
