BELLUSTAR TOKYO, A Pan Pacific Hotel, has once again been awarded One MICHELIN Key in the MICHELIN Guide Hotel Selection 2026. This marks the third consecutive year that BELLUSTAR TOKYO has received this prestigious distinction since the MICHELIN Keys were first introduced in Japan in 2024.
■About The MICHELIN Key
The MICHELIN Key was created as a new benchmark for the world’s outstanding hotels, much like the MICHELIN Star does for restaurants. The MICHELIN Guide’s global hotel selection now features more than 9,000 properties across over 100 countries, with MICHELIN Keys recognizing the most exceptional stays within the selection. Hotels are evaluated by MICHELIN Guide Inspectors according to five universal criteria, including architecture and design, quality and consistency of service, personality and character, value for the price, and the hotel’s contribution to the guest experience within its setting.
One MICHELIN Key is awarded to hotels that provide a very special stay, offering a distinctive character and personality, memorable experiences, and service that goes beyond expectations.
In 2026, 145 hotels in Japan received a MICHELIN Key, including 115 hotels awarded One MICHELIN Key.
